I recommend 3 - 8+ WPG (Watts Per Gallon)
To determine WPG divide the total watts by your tank gallons.
Ex:  384 Total watts ÷ 75 gallon tank = 5.12 WPG
More Watts is definitely Better!

Still today my all-time favorite light system is the Hamilton MH/VHO system!  This light is used exclusively on all the display/parent coral tanks here and you can see from the picture on the home page how beautifully this light works.  Though LED lights are out there I'm still not sold on them.  I will rejoice when they are though!  For now, give your reef the best & go with a Hamilton system.  You won't be disappointed!
