I Specialize in
"Reef Safe" Fish Only!
Though there are
many other beautiful fish out there, I only offer species
known to get along in a community environment &
to be safe with corals & inverts
including shrimp, feather dusters, clams etc.
The Fish selection at AquaCorals consists of healthy
hand/net caught or tank raised fish as well as the largest
selection of MAC Certified "at
purchase" livestock in Maine!
I am knowledgeable about the livestock I carry & the needs of each.
Not only do I carry the appropriate foods
for every fish I offer but I also feed my fish the same
foods I sell. This conditions each fish & helps
ensure they will eat once at your home!
Don't risk getting bogus
information from others?
If you are local, stop
by & "see" the difference for yourself!
There are No Skinny Bellies at AquaCorals! :0) |
Note ... Not all
"Reef Safe" fish
species areas are complete as it's a work in progress.

Offered at
AquaCorals:
Only fish that are compatible in a
reef environment. Those that have reputations for being
happy in a community setting and should not eat/harm inverts.
I
will always do my best to identify the habits of each species we
carry. I work hard to ensure my livestock is not
collected with cyanide nor other unethical collection
practices. Note: MAC
Certified "at purchase" means the livestock
listed with AquaCorals as MAC
are items purchased from inventory that hold
certification at that point by the guidelines of the Marine
Aquarium Council.
All systems at AquaCorals are filled & maintained with RO water,
protein skimmed and a minimum of 10% water changes are done
weekly to maintain quality. All livestock are conditioned
before leaving the facility.
Livestock Acclimation Process:
My Step-by-step
process is given here.
