Anthias:
Notes
From Penny:
Anthias do better in schools
consisting of one male with several females. You
may only keep one male per tank as 2 will fight to the
death usually resulting in both being lost! If you
keep a school of just females, the dominant female will
turn male! I have not seen any color differences
between wild caught males & captive females turned male.
These fish are a stunning addition to an established
reef tank! Frozen Cyclopeeze & Mysis shrimp are
core to their diet. Mine eat Formula 2 flake too.

Penny's Favorite!
Lyretail Orange Female
Pseudanthias squamipinnis
Size:
3 - 3.5"
Notes:
Notice the dramatic color difference between the
male & females! If you have a group of females
with no male, the dominant female will turn male!
One of the most colorful, hardiest & easiest Anthias
to keep. Get multiple Females and one will
turn Male!
